What is a neuropsychological evaluation?
Neuropsychologist spend 8 or more years after a bachelor degree studying the relationship between how the brain's form and function relate to how we feel, think, and behave by using different methods. The primary means has been the use of standardized and norm-referenced tests. These norm comparisons are the foundation of gaining insightful impressions and solutions! Why is a psychological or neuropsychological evaluation helpful?
- Below are common concerns and reasons for doing such an evaluation:
- Does my child have ADHD, Autism, Learning Disability or something else?
- My child seems to have some difficulties with learning and struggles at school overall. Why and how can I help?
- Why is my child so disorganized? He has a lot of trouble planning and getting things done.
- We are trying everything, and our child is still so frustrated, please help us understand what will help my child.
- Comprhension is difficult. We have to explain things over and over. He is forgetful and maybe has memory problems. We need clarity!
- I think my child may need extra help or accommodations at school. How do we make this happen?
- I'm not sure what helps and it has been difficult to get the school on board.

How much do your evaluation services cost?
Cost will vary depending on obtained service. More hours will equal more cost.

Do you take insurance?
We are paneled with several major providers (BCBSM, BCN, HAP, Cigna, Aetna). However, we offer other payment options (e.g., Credit Card; Private Health Savings) as well as a "master receipt" that outlines all procedures performed with billing code for you to seek some reimbursement from your health care provider if they are not listed above.
